Andhra Pradesh TET 2024 Notification Released: Exam Dates and Details

The Andhra Pradesh Government, Department of School Education, has announced the Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (AP TET) 2024 July session notification with important details:

AP TET 2024 Schedule

• Notification Date: Released on July 2, 2024.
• Registration Dates: From July 4 to July 17, 2024.
• Application Fee Payment: Opens on July 3 and closes on July 16, 2024. Fee is Rs 750 per paper.
• Admit Card Release: July 25, 2024.
• Exam Dates: August 5 to 20, 2024, in two shifts: 9.30 am to 12 noon and 2.30 pm to 5 pm.
• Answer Key Release: August 10, 2024.
• Objection Window: From August 11 to 20, 2024.
• Final Answer Key: August 25, 2024.
• Results Announcement: August 30, 2024.

Educational Qualification for AP TET 2024

To be eligible for AP TET 2024, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• For Paper 1 (Classes 1 to 5):

  • Minimum 45% marks in Class 12 or its equivalent.
  • Two-year Diploma in Education (D.Ed) or Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) or a four-year Bachelor’s in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).

• For Paper 2 (Classes 6 to 8):

  • Minimum 50% marks in Class 12 and D.El.Ed/B.El.Ed.
  • Graduation with at least 50% marks and a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed).
  • Post-graduation with 55% marks and B.Ed/M.Ed.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Oriental Language or equivalent, or a degree in Literature with a relevant subject for Paper 2(A).

AP TET 2024 February Session Results

• Result Date: June 25, 2024.
• Pass Percentage: 58.4%.
• Total Candidates: 2,35,907 appeared.
• Candidates Passed: 1,37,903.
• Exam Dates: February 27 to March 9, 2024.

Teaching Eligibility

• Paper 1 Qualifiers: Eligible to teach Classes 1 to 5.
• Paper 2 Qualifiers: Eligible to teach Classes 6 to 8.
