Eamonn Holmes and his mystery blonde divorcee pal have been spotted alongside one another.

It comes after Katie Alexander was said to be "in love" with the GB News presenter following his split from his estranged wife Ruth Langsford but insists she's not a home wrecker. Katie, 42, was seen driving Eamonn, 64, in his black Range Rover after it was claimed she had been staying with him in his apartment.

Eamonn and Katie initially met via social media back in 2015 and they have enjoyed a string of outings together, including a trip to Ireland, a Beyoncé concert and a Manchester United game. Katie has previously hit back at claims she was a home wrecker, insisting that this was not the case.

It's believed that Katie is "in it for the long haul" when it comes to her bond with Eamonn, with sources claiming she hopes their friendship could blossom into a long-term relationship. Sources told the Mirror that since the news of Ruth and Eamonn's divorce, his bond with Katie has gone from strength to strength.

They said: "She is helping Eamonn through the tough times but doesn't want to be seen as a marriage wrecker. The friendship has grown in recent months but Eamonn's marriage has been over for some time. She wants to help Eamonn with his situation and their friendship has grown over a period of time. She feels she will be close to him for a long period and is in this for the long haul."

During their recent outing, the relationship counsellor from Yorkshire opted for a black top and beige shorts as well as a pair of oversized sunglasses to protect her eyes from the scorching sun, in pictures obtained by The Sun. Speaking to the publication, a source said: "The fact remains that he would still be in the marital home, being cared for by Ruth, if she didn't find out what had gone on behind her back. There is a lot still to spill out on what has really gone on during Eamonn's marriage. It will all come out in the wash.

"And even he will raise eyebrows at some of the details surrounding his new confidant Katie, who has told pals she's 'madly in love' with him. Watch this space." In May, the entertainment world was rocked when it was revealed that Eamonn and Ruth had parted ways after 14 years of matrimony and were set to divorce. Strains had begun to show in their relationship, and they hadn't been snapped together for two years. The former couple share a son Jack together.

Ruth and Eamonn had been together since 1997 before eventually marrying in 2010.
