In a disturbing incident in Uttar Pradesh ’s Greater Noida , three men in a BMW pursued and obstructed a woman ’s car for “about 2 km”. The footage of the incident, recorded on the car’s dash camera, is circulating widely on the internet.
According to reports, the incident occurred near Greater Noida’s Knowledge Park on May 2. The men assaulted the car of the woman who was en route to a hospital with her family . The viral video depicts the men tailing the car, making attempts to overtake it. The BMW even makes contact with the car, but the woman persists in driving.
As the video unfolds, the BMW can be seen blocking the vehicle. Demonstrating quick thinking, the woman reverses the car and drives away. Subsequently, the men exit the car and hurl bottles toward them.
Sharing the video, a user named Prateek Singh wrote, “Goons in BMW chased & attacked on family. Family was going to the hospital… Location – Greater Noida near expo mart ( UP ).”
Shortly after the video gained traction, the Uttar Pradesh Police initiated an investigation. In response, the official handle of the Gautam Buddh Nagar Police Commissionerate stated, “The police station in-charge of Knowledge Park has been directed to investigate and take necessary action in connection with the above case.”
The video garnered over 68,000 views on ‘X’, sparking outrage. Reacting to it, a user commented, “Very sad. @Uppolice should increase patrolling and check points. This seems like a well developed area. Also, on a different note- the roads in NOIDA look phenomenal and super clean.”
Another user wrote, “Very bad law and order situation in Greater Noida. Courtesy @Uppolice @noidapolice Such incidents are very common and increasing day by day. The location where this happened was a few meters away from @DCPGreaterNoida’s knowledge park office. What a shame!!”
