WWE 2K25 Releases Update 1.07: New Championships, Arenas, and Key Gameplay Fixes Arrive

2K Games has rolled out Update 1.07 for WWE 2K25, introducing a wave of new content and improvements. With enhanced championship options, new arenas, and vital gameplay updates, this patch continues the studio’s post-launch commitment to player feedback and game optimization. Released just weeks after the game’s debut in March, the latest update targets multiple modes including MyGM, Universe, and Create-an-Arena.

New Championships and Arenas Debut

One of the headline additions in Update 1.07 is the inclusion of new title belts. Players can now use the NXT Championship and NXT Women’s Championship in exhibition matches, expanding the authenticity and variety of title contests. The update also adds the classic Saturday Night’s Main Event arena, offering nostalgic flair to the gameplay experience.

In MyGM Mode, female superstars can now compete for women’s midcard championships, a long-requested feature that brings deeper roster management and brand competition across Raw, SmackDown, and NXT.

Gameplay and Visual Enhancements

Update 1.07 addresses several visual and camera-related issues. Fixes include:

• Improved camera angles in Money in the Bank matches

• Transparency corrections for the Hell in a Cell roof

• Better camera tracking in multiplayer backstage brawls

• Enhanced replay and highlight reel functionality

These upgrades aim to provide a smoother, more cinematic in-ring presentation across match types.

The Create-an-Arena mode received much-needed fixes, resolving issues with image placements, thumbnails, and manual camera engagement. Players can now customize arenas with more stability and fewer glitches.

In Universe Mode, 2K has implemented improved win/loss tracking, enhanced rivalry mechanics, and added the ability to set up rivalry actions during Premium Live Events (PLEs) — all of which help streamline storytelling and long-term booking.

Update 1.07 also brings numerous performance optimizations across WWE 2K25, particularly in MyRISE and MyFACTION modes. Additional fixes include adjustments to body bruising visuals, face photo positioning, and general gameplay responsiveness.

Looking ahead, fans can anticipate more content soon. The first DLC pack drops on May 14, featuring rising WWE stars and a surprise celebrity guest — hip-hop icon Travis Scott, who will appear as a playable character.
