WWE community pours in tributes for John Cena’s retirement
Cena has been an inspirational figure for the WWE universe. His work inside the ring has earned him the respect of fans and colleagues alike. Omos was one of the first wrestlers to tweet his reaction after Cena announced his retirement.

When The Game calls someone as the greatest of all time, it’s hard to ignore such an accolade.

Grayson Waller is one of the newer talents in the world of professional wrestling, and he certainly made a cryptic tweet which is open to interpretation.

Waller wasn’t the only one who made his wish clear about facing Cena for one last time. Well known heel Baron Corbin also tweeted out a similar wish.

John Cena’s legacy has expanded beyond the realms of wrestling. NBA franchise Orlando Magic also wished the superstar after the announcement of his impending retirement.

CM Punk was also asked about his feelings regarding Cena’s announcement, and this is what he said.

“But Cena I think to my career means a lot. I don’t think there’s many people up in that rare air where if you talk about my career, I feel you have to talk about John. And it makes me feel proud that I think if you talk about John’s career, I think you have to talk about me. We’re married in that respect.

“Proud of him, he gets to go out on his terms, I know that’s important. I’m looking forward to what he does, and I told him that if it’s gonna be one more time, we gotta do it at least one more time.”

While Cena has announced his retirement from WWE, he will be doing so in 2025 following a farewell tour. Hence, there’s still few chances for the fans to watch one of their favorite superstars of all time inside the ring.
