Former MLA of Sedam Constituency, Dr. Nagareddy Patil, known for his dedication to education and public service, passed away early this morning due to a heart attack. He was 79 years old.
Dr. Nagareddy, who served as an MLA from 1983 to 1985 under the BJP party, later joined the Janata Dal before affiliating with the Congress party for the last two decades. His son, Shivashantha Reddy, currently leads the Sedam Bloc Congress.
He leaves behind a legacy of service and a large family, including brothers, sisters, children, nieces, grandchildren, and numerous relatives.
According to family sources, the cremation ceremony is scheduled for today, May 6, at 3:30 pm in a field adjacent to the Ashraya colony in Sedam town.
