Charlie Kirk wife Erika on Saturday shared pictures of her final moments beside her husband’s body in a casket. "The sound of this widow weeping echoes throughout this world like a battle cry," she wrote in an Instagram post that included a family photo and images of her mourning.
"The world is evil. But our Savior. Our Lord. Our God. Не...Не is so good. I will never have the words. Ever. The sound of this widow weeping echos throughout this world like a battle cry. I have no idea what any of this means. But baby I know you do and so does our Lord," the post read.

"They have no idea what they just ignited within this wife. If they thought my husband’s mission was big now..you have no idea. You. All of you. Will never. Ever. Forget my husband @charliekirk1776 I’ll make sure of it. Rest in the arms of our Lord baby as he blankets you with the words I know your heart always strived to hear, 'well done My good and faithful servant,'" she added.
Kirk, a conservative activist and ally of Donald Trump, was fatally shot Wednesday while speaking at a Utah college. Police arrested a suspect two days later after a public search.
Married and father of two, Kirk was the founder of Turning Point USA, a conservative youth organization with chapters at colleges and high schools nationwide. He played a key role in building a pro-Trump youth movement, bringing right-wing speakers to campuses and training conservative activists. His positions aligned with much of Trump’s base: he opposed gay and transgender rights, rejected separation of church and state, backed gun rights, dismissed climate change concerns, and promoted the “great replacement” theory.
In her first reaction to Charlie's assassination, Erika said that she planned to carry on his political work through the organization Turning Point USA.
