Republican leader Vivek Ramaswamy was asked by a youngster whether he supports Donald Trump's "dangerous rhetoric" of "enemy within". Vivek said he was prepared for the question and was asked the same question on CNN. He said Donald Trump called Left wing radical lunatics the enemy within. "For the first time in the American history in a generation, we had a major presidential candidate on the eve of an election barely survive one assassination attempt to have another assassination attempt...there were bullets fired. I think it's fair to call them Left wing radicals. Would you call them anything different?" Vivek asked.
"We don't know what political party they were.." the youngster replied to which Vivek said they could agree that the would-be assassins were radical lunatics at least.
Vivek said it's wrong that the two assassination attempts on Donald Trump became normalized in the country. "There's something peculiar in the country that Donald Trump was shot once, we blame Donald Trump. Donald Trump was shot twice, we blame Donald Trump. I am glad Elon Musk's rocket made it back and they caught it. If not, they would have on Sunday blamed Donald Trump for that too, I think."
"At one point we have to ask ourselves whether the person being shot at is to be blamed or whether there is something else going on in our culture that's villainized our opposition," Vivek said.
"He is a fighter, no doubt about it. He has the ability to fight. I am also betting and I believe he has the ability to unite not through cheap talk but through action. Success is unifying, excellence is unifying. Part of the reason people are pissed off is that wages have not gone up but prices have," Vivek Ramaswamy said in a pitch for Donald Trump.
The problem is picking on what Donald Trump says one day rather than focusing on the substance that he's addressing, Vivek said.

An audience member expressed concern about Trump’s “dangerous rhetoric” by calling people “radical lunatics.” Reality check: 2 men tried to shoot Trump in a span of months. Turns out the problem is actually the radical lunatics, not the fact of calling them that. pic.twitter.com/Mif2H6FJ0p
