'The worst is...': 'Living Nostradamus' warns of a potential US-China conflict

Athos Salomé , often dubbed a modern-day Nostradamus, has made a prediction, warning of a potential conflict between the United States and China.

The 36-year-old Brazilian psychic is known for his accurate predictions, including the coronavirus pandemic, Elon Musk buying Twitter and the Microsoft outage earlier this year. Salomé has claimed that growing tensions in Asia could soon erupt into a full-scale war, according to the Daily Mail .

In an interview with 'Femail', Salomé said, “The worst is yet to come,” pointing to two major events that could result in escalating tensions between the US and China. He pointed to the South China Sea as a key area, where tensions over territory and military presence have been growing. Additionally, he suggested that a major cyberattack could potentially be the unexpected reason for a global conflict.

Salomé underscored the seriousness of the threat and said, “China is an emerging market that is increasingly collaborating with Russia. This alliance, born of deep-seated self-interest and a common spirit of anti-western imperialism, is capable of transforming regional conflict into a total world war.”

Chinese foreign policy analyst, Zheng Yongnian, has noted these concerns. He recently pointed out that Asia is on the brink of war due to increasing tensions and military buildups, particularly in Taiwan and the South China Sea. “Despite the US claims to achieve peace in Asia under its leadership, the reality is quite the opposite – Asia, under US dominance, is rapidly sliding towards war,” Zheng wrote on a WeChat platform.

Salomé noted that China perceives the US military presence in the region as a containment strategy, which is further fueling an arms race. “The conditions indicate that the region is a ‘powder keg’ which can lead to war even by a relatively minor clash,” he said.

Salomé believes cyberwarfare is becoming an increasingly real threat. He had previously predicted the Microsoft outage earlier this year, which he now claims could lead to "an escalation of confrontation and eventually cyberwar." Speaking to 'Femail', he said, “Microsoft’s global shutdown may affect essential infrastructure with the escalation of inter-state confrontation and lead to cyber war.”

The 'living Nostradamus' predictions extend beyond China and the US. He also foresees a potential conflict between Israel and Iran in 2024, linked to advanced technologies like artificial intelligence (AI). According to the psychic, both nations may adopt AI for defence and offensive purposes.

Salomé called attention to the increasing importance of electromagnetic pulse (EMP) weapons. He said, “EMP has the potential to destabilise defence and communication systems, making it an essential element of upcoming military endeavours.”
