NEW DELHI: A labourer hailing from Uttar Pradesh's Bijnore , was shot and injured by terrorists in the Tral area of Pulwama district on Thursday morning, according to officials.
The incident occurred at Batagund village, where Shubam Kumar was hit by a bullet in his arm. He was immediately taken to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.
This attack marks the third incident targeting non-local labourers in Kashmir within the span of a week.
On Sunday, six labourers from outside the region and a local doctor lost their lives in a terror attack at a construction site in Ganderbal district. Prior to that, on October 18, a labourer from Bihar was shot dead by terrorists in Shopian district.
