NEW DELHI: SpiceJet on Wednesday said that they received messages on their social media handle indicating bomb-threats for two of their flights.
Airlines' spokesperson stated that concerned authorities were immediately apprised and all necessary safety protocols were followed.
After receiving the necessary approvals, the passengers on both the flights were offloaded. The aircraft was cleared for operations.
Nearly a dozen Indian flights , including some international flights, received bomb threats but nothing suspicious has been found in the planes in the past two days.
Delhi Police has lodged a first information report (FIR) in relation with bomb threats and has commenced a probe into the matter, as per the PTI.
