YAMUNANAGAR: Former BJP MLA from Radaur Shyam Singh Rana , a Rajput leader in Yamunanagar district is all set to join BJP again. Talking to the media, Rana said he will join BJP in the presence of Haryana chief minister Nayab Singh Saini at Chandigarh on July 5.

Rana who was elected as MLA from Radaur on BJP ticket in 2014, had earlier left the saffron party in 2020, in support of the farmers’ protest and joined Indian National Lok Dal ( INLD ), over the new farm laws of the Centre government.

Speaking to the media, Shyam Singh Rana on Tuesday said, “It is an appeal of my supporting workers that I should join Bharatiya Janata Party and I am making this shift due to the workers.”

Rana said that there will be a good competition in the upcoming Haryana state assembly elections, as it is indicated from the Lok Sabha results, after which, both the parties (BJP and Congress) have got five seats each.

“Whichever party will field good candidates and the workers do the hard work, they will come out as winner”, said Rana.

Speaking about INLD, Rana said, “INLD has always remained in my favour and they respect me now also. In October, I would have completed four years in INLD. Abhay Singh Chautala is a man who struggles and I have also worked for the party. But it is our worker’s wish that I should come back to BJP again.”
