JAMMU: Over 3.5 lakh devotees from across India and abroad visited Vaishno Devi during Chaitra Navratra , an official spokesperson of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board said on Sunday.
The board had organised a nine-day Shat Chandi maha yagya , which concluded with ‘purnahuti’ (culmination ceremony) on the occasion of Mahanavami.
Anshul Garg, the board’s CEO, said elaborate arrangements were made to enhance pilgrimage experience. Langar facility was extended to Shubhra Bhawan at Banganga for devotees observing fast during Navratra, Garg said.
