NEW DELHI: An Air India flight travelling from Mumbai to New York on Monday, was diverted to Delhi due to a bomb threat, according to Delhi Police.
"The aircraft, now stationed at Indira Gandhi International (IGI) airport is undergoing thorough safety checks. All standard safety protocols are being followed to ensure the security of the passengers and crew on board," Delhi Police said.
Authorities are investigating the threat, and no further details have been released at this time. Passengers are reported to be safe as the situation is being monitored.
