NEW DELHI: An army soldier lost his life and nine others were injured after their vehicle skidded off the road and overturned in the D H Pora area of Kulgam district in the Valley, officials reported on Saturday.
The accident took place during an operational move late Friday night, according to a statement from the Army's Srinagar-based 15 Corps, also known as Chinar Corps .
"Tragically, one sepoy lost his life, while a few soldiers sustained injuries who were promptly evacuated for medical care . All injured soldiers are in stable condition," the Chinar Corps confirmed.
The injured personnel were transported to a hospital where they received immediate medical attention.
