When asked how it feels to be a spectator, the player expressed her excitement and happiness. She talked about how it feels weird and the “vibe is different” from the stands than being on the court.

Definitely a surreal feeling of being in a different position, watching from a different perspective.” Paige took a brief pause, initially expressing her emotions. Selecting the right adjectives to the emotion, she continued, “Not being yelled at when a UConn game is on. It’s all different vibes, but I am very happy to be here and very excited to watch from this perspective.”
Paige was part of the UConn team for five years before moving to the WNBA. In her first year, the athlete was considered one of the most hyped recruits since Breanna Stewart in 2012.
