Think of common fast foods loved by all, and pizzas and burgers always come to mind first. Both these dishes give us a sense of joy and happiness, as they are loaded with cheese and aromatic seasonings. But, what if your burger comes with a layer of blood in place of cheese? Sounds bizarre? Well, it is true. Scroll down to read the details.
As per reports, a woman named Tiffany Floyd in New York ordered a meal for her 4-year-daughter from a Burger King outlet in Getzville and later while the kid was enjoying the meal, the mother discovered that her daughter's food was covered in blood. She shared the ordeal in a clip on TikTok.

As per reports, she gave the food bag to her daughter, and then she heard, 'Mom I don't want ketchup'. So, she took the bag back thinking Burger King had messed up her order, but when she opened the bag, she realised there was blood all over her bag, the hamburger, the toy, her fries, everything.
As per Daily Mail, she instantly told her daughter to spit out her food. Floyd contacted the restaurant and was told that a team member had cut his hand earlier in the restaurant.
In a statement she said, "I called Burger King and the manager told me that somebody cut his hand and that if I came back he would give me a refund. I reached out to our local health department and they filed a report but there's not much more they can do."

Later, when the video went viral, Burger King's corporate office offered to pay for any medical expenses following the incident. It is reported that they have temporarily closed the restaurant to re-train the staff and follow a process of deep cleaning. The official statement by Burger King reads, "We were deeply upset and concerned. We have been in contact with the Guest and are working with her to resolve this incident. This incident was the result of a team member in the restaurant who injured his finger, and upon noticing immediately stepped away. We closed the restaurant to retrain all the team members and hired an external company to complete a deep cleaning,' the company explained. We expect the restaurant to re-open Monday and are fully paying team members for any lost shifts during this temporary shut down."
