Ambanis are known for their hospitality and their ways of paying gratitude to those who have supported them. The Ambani family commenced the wedding celebrations of their son Anant Ambani with Radhika Merchant by organising a 'Samuh Vivah' (mass wedding) for over 50 underprivileged couples from the Palghar area between Gujarat and Mumbai, in which they gifted gold jewellery, 1 lakh rupees, and grocery to the couples.

Also, the family recently organized a 40-day bhandar, feeding 5000 people at Antilia, the Ambani family’s Mumbai residence. It began on July 10, 2024, and will continue for 40 days. Lavish meals is being be served at the community gathering to feed thousands of people. As per reports, the menu included veg pulao, gatte ki sabzi, dhokla, paneer curry, raita, and puri.

This is not the first time that the Ambani family is feeding people in masses. In the past, one of India’s richest families has organised many such selfless events. In India, bhandara is considered a service to God as people come forward to thank the Almighty for blessing them with everything they have.

Earlier in the month of March, the Ambani family performed Anna Seva, a community food service, in the villages surrounding Reliance's Jamnagar township. The Anna Seva served 51,000 residents.
