Three persons died and four others, including two children, sustained injuries when an old three-storey residential building collapsed near Baba Baidhyanathdham temple in Jharkhand's Deoghar around 5 am on Sunday.
The injured are undergoing treatment. Of them, three are said to be critical, officials said.
Teams from NDRF , local police , fire department among others were rushed for rescue operation.
The deceased were identified as Manikant Dwari (53), Sunil Kumar (38) and his wife Soni Devi (30).
Godda BJP MP Nishikant Dubey announced that Rs 1 lakh compensation would be provided to the dependents of the deceased persons.
