Following a review meeting on forest fires and upcoming Char Dham yatra on Wednesday, Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami ordered suspension and disciplinary action against 17 forest department employees on grounds of "negligence and dereliction of duties". Of these, 10 have been suspended, 5 others have been 'attached to headquarters' and show cause notices have been issued to two employees.
