In terms of exploration, character builds, and, finally, combat style, Bethesda's Oblivion Remastered gives you freedom of choice. Depending on whether you're a sneaky assassin or a heavily armored tank, you could set the pace and feel of your early-game experience depending on the weapon choice. Luckily, Cyrodiil has several high-damage weapons available almost from the start. The integral part is they not only stay good for a few levels but will also allow you to carry deep into the game if wielded cleverly. Here are the best early weapons and the fast method to attain them.
1. Blackwater Blade — For swift combatThe elegant character of this sword might be its undoing, but the cutlass compensates for its lack of warhammer-like brute force with shear efficiency. Found during An Unexpected Voyage quest, this blade shines because of its unique enchantment that absorbs fatigue and allows you to chain attacks without use of much stamina.
Why it rocks early:
2. Umbra — Risky but rewarding Umbra remains undoubtedly the early game weapon for players who prefer to live on the edge. The most potent one-handed sword, with a built-in enchantment for Soul Trap, this blade can wreak havoc upon enemies, should you manage to grab it.
