Los Angeles Clippers small forward Kawhi Leonard recently removed the Gatorade bottles lined up on the table in front of him as he arrived for a press conference after his team beat the Denver Nuggets by 34 points in Game 3 of Round 1 of the NBA playoffs . He said the kids don’t need to drink them, but he didn’t give any answer when asked about an alternative drink. However, he surely managed to impress fans on social media who praised him for taking a stand against unhealthy drinks.

It is to be noted that Gatorade has been the NBA’s official drink partner for decades. “Take those Gatorades down… kids don’t need to be drinking that.” However, he chose to play it safe and kept quiet when asked to suggest other healthier drinks. “I'm not going to mention it right now, you can talk to me after,” he added.
As a video of Leonard from the press conference surfaced online, fans were full of praise for the 33-year-old. An X user wrote, “He wouldn’t tell because he knows what comes after that. Lost endorsements and a long call to his agent, them’s the rules.” On his choice of keeping quiet after removing the bottles, an X user said, “Bro didn’t want to get fined.”
Impressed by his gesture, a fan tweeted, “Hard not to love the guy.” Another said, “I respect this guy more and more each day. Won’t be drawn into any drama.” One more said, “He's right. Kawhi is the man.”
