European football transfers: Who's in, who's out this summer window

European football clubs outside the Premier League completed major transfer deals as the summer transfer window closed on Monday, with significant moves across Italy, Spain, Germany, France, and other leagues. Several high-profile players switched clubs through free transfers, substantial fees, and loan arrangements, reshaping team rosters across the continent.

In Italy, Serie A clubs made notable acquisitions with Kevin De Bruyne joining Napoli and Luka Modric moving to AC Milan, both as free agents. AC Milan further strengthened their squad by signing Christopher Nkunku from Chelsea for 37 million euros and Ardon Jashari from Club Brugge for 36 million euros.

Inter Milan secured multiple signings, including Luis Henrique from Marseille and Ange-Yoan Bonny from Parma for 23 million euros each. Roma added firepower to their attack with loan deals for Evan Ferguson from Brighton and Leon Bailey from Aston Villa.

Spanish clubs made substantial investments, with Real Madrid leading the way by signing Dean Huijsen from Bournemouth for 63 million euros. Atletico Madrid strengthened their squad with Alex Baena from Villarreal for 55 million euros and David Hancko from Feyenoord for 30 million euros.

Barcelona secured Marcus Rashford on loan from Manchester United, while Real Madrid also added Trent Alexander-Arnold from Liverpool for 10 million euros.

In Germany, Bayern Munich made a significant move by signing Luis Diaz from Liverpool for 75 million euros. Bayer Leverkusen reinforced their team with Jarell Quansah from Liverpool and Malik Tillman from PSV Eindhoven, both for 35 million euros each.

French clubs were also active, with Paris Saint-Germain signing Illia Zabarnyi from Bournemouth for 63 million euros and Lucas Chevalier from Lille for 40 million euros. Marseille strengthened their squad with Igor Paixao from Feyenoord for 35 million euros.

Several high-profile free transfers occurred in France, with Paul Pogba joining Monaco and Olivier Giroud moving to Lille. Eric Dier also joined Monaco as a free agent from Bayern Munich.

Turkish clubs made significant moves, with Galatasaray securing Victor Osimhen from Napoli for 75 million euros and Leroy Sane from Bayern Munich as a free transfer. Portuguese clubs were also active, with Benfica signing Richard Rios from Palmeiras for 27 million euros.

Notable loan deals included Tammy Abraham moving to Besiktas from Roma and Ansu Fati joining Monaco from Barcelona. The transfer window saw a mix of experienced players and emerging talents changing clubs across European leagues.
