In the year 2020, they welcomed their second child, Brandon John Freeman. The procedure of the surrogacy was hectic for the couple, given the doctor’s appointments, and Freddie Freeman’s league, however, was rewarding eventually, as the couple confessed.

Maximus is still progressing from the syndrome but positively, and the couple is thankful to the Los Angeles Dodgers team for their support mentally as well as financially.

Freddie and Chelsea have remained strong throughout this challenging journey, leaning on each other and their loved ones for support. They continue to raise awareness about Guillain-Barré syndrome, hoping to help other families facing similar struggles. Despite the hardships, their unwavering love and resilience keep them moving forward with optimism.
