Rajasthan Royals ended their IPL 2025 season with a dominant seven-wicket victory over Chennai Super Kings at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. Chasing 188, RR reached the target in just 17.1 overs, powered by strong contributions at the top and a quick finish.

RR’s chase was led by 14-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi, who once again showed maturity beyond his age, scoring a fluent 57 off 33 balls — his second fifty of the season. Yashasvi Jaiswal provided support with a brisk 36, and captain Sanju Samson chipped in with 41. The finishing touches came from Dhruv Jurel, who smashed 31* off just 12 balls, and Shimron Hetmyer, who added a quick 12* off 5.
The Royals wrapped up their campaign with four wins, ending on a positive note. Chennai, meanwhile, slumped to yet another defeat and are at the bottom of the table. With one game left against table-toppers Gujarat Titans, CSK still have a chance to avoid finishing last. However, it won’t be easy as they not only need to win but must do so by a big margin, as their net run rate is significantly worse than Rajasthan’s.
