There might just be some truth to all those Hugh Jackman and Sutton Foster affair rumours after all.

Months after Hugh Jackman and wife Deborra-Lee Furness announced their shocking decision to end their 27-year marriage, a friend of the couple may have just spilled the tea on what really went wrong. Over the past weeks, rumours were rife that the actor was in a hush-hush romance with actress Sutton Foster, with some reports suggesting that the two have been romantically involved since their 2022 Broadway collaboration in The Music Man.

Now, a close friend of Jackman’s ex-wife, Deborra, has reacted to the speculation and seemingly hinted that these claims might be "on point."

British television personality Amanda de Cadenet recently weighed in on the rumoured affair, by commenting on a gossip blog's Instagram video saying, "You are on point with this one. My beloved friend Deb is about to have her glow up any moment!"

Furness reportedly liked the video from her private account, adding further fuel to the rumours.

According to Us Weekly, an inside source claimed that Jackman and Foster’s relationship played a significant role in the 'Wolverine' star's divorce from Furness. The report quoted an insider saying, "Sutton and Hugh’s relationship is the reason Hugh and Deb got divorced. A lot of people on Broadway knew, and we kept it quiet because both of them are so nice and great people. Everyone respected their privacy. But there was an affair and overlap."

Adding fuel to the romance rumours, Foster recently announced her divorce from Ted Griffin. Just weeks ago, she announced her decision to end her 10-year marriage, raising eyebrows over the timing of the announcement.
