Television actress Arti Singh recently penned an emotional tribute to her late mother, remembering the heartbreaking loss she experienced as an infant. On May 13, marking the anniversary of her mother’s death, Arti shared a moving note on social media. “13th May… you left. 37 days after my birth. All I know is you were wearing a yellow gown. And nothing else,” she wrote. Arti expressed the pain of not having any pictures with her mother and the emptiness of never feeling her touch. “I miss you. I don’t know your touch. I don’t know anything, but I miss you. Phir kabhi kisi janam mein paida karna toh mujhe hi karna aur kabhi jhod ke nahi jaana. I love you, mamma,” she added.
In a recent episode of Laughter Chefs 2, Arti’s brother, actor-comedian Krushna Abhishek, got emotional as he invited their adoptive mother Geeta, his late mother’s best friend, on stage. Holding back tears, Krushna shared, “When I was 2 years old, my mother passed away, and that is when Geeta aunty promised her that she would raise us. Jab Arti ki abhi shaadi hui, toh unhone kaha ki ‘maine apna vaada poora kiya’.” His words left the entire stage in tears, revealing the strength of familial love and sacrifice.
Both Arti and Krushna have built successful careers in the entertainment industry. Arti has made her mark through popular shows like Bigg Boss 13, Waaris, and Parichay, and continues to grow in television. Krushna, meanwhile, has become a household name with The Kapil Sharma Show, and has proved his versatility across stand-up, acting, and hosting. Despite early personal loss, the siblings have turned pain into strength, forever carrying their mother’s memory in their hearts.
