Kiran Rao’s ‘Laapataa Ladies’ aka ‘Lost Ladies’ is surely one of the best movies that came out from Bollywood. Recently a special gathering was held for the movie in New York which was hosted by the famous chef Vikas Khanna, as part of the Oscar campaign.
The special event was conducted at Vikas Khanna’s New York restaurant, and bungalow and he also shared a few clicks with Aamir Khan, Kiran Rao, and the other crew of ‘Laapataa Ladies’.

Praising Kiran Rao as a true artist and Aamir Khan as the ‘Kindest’, Vikas Khanna penned a heartwarming note on Instagram along with the snaps shared. “ab dil se Dua atti hai, “Jeet lo duniya”. This is exactly what I felt yesterday when we were hosting Oscar Campaigning event of Lost Ladies (Laapataa Ladies) at Bungalow.”
Further he wrote, “Kiran you are a true artist to create such an iconic film. Aamir Sir, you are the KINDEST. The way you engaged & loved & respected Mysha was everything to me. (See pic 2 & 6).”
Vikas’ note further said, “Jyoti your genuineness & everygy to support South Asian Arts is inspiring. Your journey defines an Indian value system of “always there for you like a family”.”
