Nagpur: Spruha Shinkhede, a Std VI student of Somalwar High School, Ramdaspeth, secured a gold medal in the prestigious Dr Homi Bhabha Balvaidyanik Competition 2024–25 at the national level.
The competition, aimed at nurturing scientific talent among students from Std VI to IX, is conducted in four rigorous stages across eight centres. The final round was held on April 12 at Yashwantrao Natya Mandir, Matunga, where Spruha excelled with her stellar performance. She also delivered a speech during the prize distribution ceremony, expressing gratitude to her supportive parents and friends. Along with the gold medal, Spruha was awarded a scholarship.
