Nagpur: The Nagpur city police commissionerate's traffic department has prepared a list of 778 unclaimed vehicles to be auctioned following due process. These vehicles have been lying unclaimed for a long time across various traffic divisions in the city.
In an official notification, the police urged vehicle owners to verify whether their vehicle appears on the list, which is now publicly available on the city police's official website. The complete list of unclaimed vehicles can be accessed by visiting: (https://nagpurpolice.gov.in/PressRelease.html) and checking the post titled ‘Unclaimed Vehicles for auction date May 14, 2025.'
If any individual has a legitimate claim or objection regarding a listed vehicle, they are required to contact the concerned traffic division or reach out to the traffic department within seven days of the notice. Failure to do so will result in the auction of the vehicle as per govt norms.
The police made it clear that once the deadline passes, no further claims will be entertained, and the vehicles will be disposed of accordingly.
