Guwahati: A day after the Lok Sabha, the Rajya Sabha on Wednesday passed The Indian Institutes of Management (Amendment) Bill, 2025, with a voice vote, clearing the decks for the establishment of the country's 22nd IIM in Guwahati with an investment of Rs 555 crore.
The bill will now go for presidential assent after its passage in both houses of Parliament. Assam goes to the polls early next year. tnn
