Motorcycle maker Harley-Davidson has issued a recall order for 41,637 motorcycles of five models over short-circuiting and crash risk. US's National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and Harley Davidson issued the recall via a notice last week. The notice identified a fault with certain Harley Davidson models due to which the voltage regulator could potentially rub with components near the engine which could lead to the wire wearing, followed by a potential short circuit, USA Today reported. As a result of the short-circuit, the motorcycle will lose power with no warning to the rider, the notice reportedly said.
