Raj Kundra Shares Cryptic Post After ED Attaches His, Shilpa Shetty's Properties In Money Laundering Case. See Inside

Celebrity couple Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra's properties worth Rs 97.79 crore have been attached under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act, 2002. The latter is being investigated in a scam related to Bitcoins. Recently, ED attached their assets, including the lavish Juhu house, Pune home and equity shares, stating that the mastermind of the Ponzi scam gave Raj 285 Bitscoins for setting up a Bitcoin mining farm in Ukraine. The Bitcoins, now valued at over Rs. 150 crore, are still in his possession, according to the agency

Raj recently took to social media to share a note about being a good person but also knowing when to say it's 'enough.'


"There is a time to be a nice person. And there's a time to say enough is enough," read his Instagram Story.

Raj Kundra, Shilpa Shetty's lawyer's statement

While the couple has maintained silence amid the probe, their legal representative recently reiterated their commitment to adhering to the due process of law.

Advocate Prashant Patil emphasized, "We shall follow the due process of law and take necessary steps as prescribed under the provisions of Prevention of Money Laundering Act to protect the liberty and property of my clients."

He added, "On the face of it, there is no prima facie case made out against my clients Mr Raj Kundra and Mrs Shilpa Shetty Kundra."

Expressing confidence in the judicial system, Patil concluded, "We have complete faith in the Honourable Judiciary. I believe when we make our fair representation before the Honourable Enforcement Directorate, even the investigation agencies may grant justice to us. We have faith in the fair investigation. We stand committed to cooperate with the authorities as and when required."

This isn't the first time Raj has landed in legal trouble. Before this, he was arrested in a case related to the production and distribution of pornographic content. He was released in September 2023, two months after his arrest.
