Noida: 30-Yr-Old Woman Falls To Death From 13th Floor Of An Under-Construction Tower In A Society

Noida: A 30-year-old woman lost her life allegedly after she fell from the thirteenth floor of an under-construction tower in a society near Noida, on Tuesday. According to the police, the woman, identified as Gangotri, worked as a construction labour at the La Residentia society. She and her husband, Vijay Tandon, lived in the same society, the police added.

A police spokesperson said that they received a memo from a private hospital at the Bisrakh police station. The memo informed them about the death of Gangotri, who had fallen from the thirteenth floor of an under-construction tower in the society.


"Today a memo was received from a private hospital at Bisrakh police station, through which the police were informed about the death of Gangotri, who fell from the thirteenth floor of an under-construction tower in the society," a police spokesperson said.

The body has been sent for post-mortem, and further legal proceedings in the case are being carried out.

In another incident, a Class 11 student reportedly fell from the 21st floor of a residential building in the ATS Advantage Society, Ghaziabad. The police suspected the possibility of suicide, as a note was discovered in the boy's pocket. However, authorities conducted a thorough investigation into the incident.

Eyewitnesses reported seeing the boy with two friends on the 24th floor of the building, engaged in conversation, and taking photographs. One of the friends recounted that the victim mentioned having an errand to attend to and left them. Shortly after, a commotion erupted below the building, alerting them to their friend's fall from the 21st floor.
