Lionel Messi has already conquered the world of football and the legendary athlete has now set his sights on capturing Hollywood. Messi has launched his own production company as he aims to boost his reported net worth which stands at approximately $1.15 billion. 535 Rosario Production company will develop and produce premium TV, film, live sports, and community events. Apart from this, the new venture will also produce branded content and commercials not just for Messi, but for many other renowned athletes all over the globe.Lionel Messi had recently made his much-anticipated return from injury, scoring two goals in Inter Miami's 3-1 win over Philadelphia last week. He also made a cameo in the Herons' 2-2 draw against Atlanta United in the MLS. The production company launched by Messi is a joint venture with Smuggler Entertainment. Messi's hometown is Rosario as he paid homage to his roots with his latest move. The 8-time Ballon d'Or winner highlighted that he was already interested in capturing the entertainment industry. Smuggler Entertainment had already collaborated with Messi when they created the documentaries 'Messi's World Cup: The Rise of a Legend' and 'Messi Meets America' which are available on Apple TV+.

I’m really motivated by the opportunity to pursue the project we created with Smuggler Entertainment and to expand it further to create content and experiences on a global scale through this new venture," said Lionel Messi on his latest venture. "The goal remains to inspire and connect with people around the world in a completely new way, and we are looking forward to this venture. We would like to continue advancing in the entertainment sector, bringing new initiatives and productions with global reach through innovative storytelling, programming, and experiences," the statement from Messi's family added. 525 Rosario will be represented by WME and they will have two headquarters, one in Miami Florida where Lionel Messi resides with his family, and another in Los Angeles.
