Bret Hart, one of the greatest pro wrestlers of all time, is renowned for maintaining complete privacy in his personal life. As a result, it is always a sight to behold when his followers get to see the vulnerable and emotional side of him.

Jim 'The Anvil' Neidhart, The Hitman's longtime tag team partner and best friend, was one person who saw the lighter and more humorous side of him during his career. The two men's on-screen partnership in WWE began in 1985 and served as a springboard for their respective careers. Bret and Jim won two tag team golds together when they were a pair.

Despite the tragic death of Jim Neidhart in 2018, Bret makes sure his legacy endures. Earlier today, Bret offered a heartfelt homage for his friend while on vacation in Australia. The photo was shared on social media by Neidhart's daughter, Natalya, who is currently a WWE star.

Despite not being as successful as Bret Hart, Neidhart is still regarded as one of the most important people in the pro wrestling industry because of his dedication to the sport. Jim Neidhart was undoubtedly one of the celebrities who was closest to Bret Hart during his days in the WWE, along with his late great brother Owen.

Bret Hart wrote a heartfelt ode to Jim Neidhart on his website after his death in 2018, describing the significance of The Anvil in his life and how he affected his career as a wrestler.

"I loved Jim as more than a brother. He was a one-of-kind character. The most beautiful thing about Jim was how on the longest days and in the most miserable times, he could always make you laugh. He'll always be the "Anvil", the big rhino, the tank. He was the best friend I ever had and I owe him for everything good that ever came my way as a pro wrestler," he said.

The Hart Foundation's induction into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2019 rendered Bret and Jim's efforts in the ring eternal.
