Cristiano Ronaldo has been enjoying a stellar beginning to the 2024-25 season having started his own YouTube channel (UR Cristiano) that is breaking all records known to the common man. The legendary footballer also scored the 900th goal of his career during a recent UEFA Nations League fixture against Croatia. In a recent video shared on Cristiano's YouTube channel, the 39-year-old took a sly dig at current Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag, only adding to their frosty relationship. Ronaldo left United after falling out with the Dutch coach but few people know that actually Cristiano Ronaldo's earrings were the cause of their first argument which escalated into a full-fledged fight later. Ronaldo, in conversation with Rio Ferdinand on 'UR Cristiano' said that Erik ten Hag must listen to former players like Ruud van Nistelrooy, or the likes of Gary Neville and other players who know the club's culture. Manchester United Evening News recently revealed how Ronaldo's jewelry was the first cause of friction between the player and the coach. The newspaper revealed that Erik ten Hag had instructed the players to not wear any jewelry during training. Cristiano being the player that he is, had donned earrings under both Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Ralf Rangnick but Ten Hag was different. The Dutchman asked his assistant Steve McClaren to deal with the matter when Ronaldo was asked to take off the jewelry and he threw the earrings worth £1,000 into a bush. What began as an argument over a piece of jewelry escalated into a full-blown war as Ronaldo left his teammates and walked away from the action on multiple occasions before giving an explosive interview to Morgan that was the final nail in the coffin. Manchester United terminated their legendary striker's contract and he subsequently joined Al Nassr in the Saudi Pro League wherein he has shattered multiple records, including winning the league's top scorer award but has failed to get his hands on the league title just yet.
