Bidar: Bidar is one of the 28 Lok Sabha seats in Karnataka. The Bidar parliamentary constituency is represented by BJP leader Bhagwanth Khuba. A tough contest is on the cards in Bidar in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, with an experienced Bhagawant Khuba facing debutant Sagar Khandre . Khuba, who is also Union Minister of State for Chemicals and Fertilizers, is a two-time MP from Bidar.

Bhagwanth Khuba from Bhartiya Janta Party once again, emerged victorious with 585,471 votes. The runner-Up Candidate was Eshwar B. Khandre from Congress who secured 468,637 votes, trailing by a margin of 116,834 votes.

Bhartiya Janta Party candidate Bhagwanth Khuba emerged victorious in 2014 Lok Sabha Elections by securing 459,290 votes. N. Dharam Singh from congress was the runner up candidate. 367,068 votes were polled in his favour. He trailed by a margin of 160,0962.

In 2011, Bidar had population of 1,703,300 of which male and female were 870,665 and 832,635 respectively.
