Kattappa Taking on Baahubali Is A Brilliant Idea: Rajamouli

Rajamouli said that when creating content, what’s important is who you are collaborating with. “I believed Katappa taking on Baahubali was a novel thought and I was excited to be part of the series. Moreover, I have shared with them the conviction with which we made the film, and at the same time, I believed they are passionate about storytelling,” shared Rajamouli.

Animation Industry Has Great Potential, Says Rajamouli

Rajamouli said that for a long time, there have been misconceptions that animation and cartoons are meant only for children. He added that the animation industry had great potential if the right stories were told. “There are so many people who watch Japanese anime series in Hyderabad. So, entertainment need not necessarily be in the form of only films, storytelling can be gaming, books, novels, comics, games, etc. There are people who watch only animation. So that’s just an indication of how much potential the animated industry has,” said the maverick director.
