Anthony Vella, a paramotor pilot and YouTuber, escaped a 85-100 ft fall at 48mph when his BGD Luna 3 suddenly collapsed in the Enchanted Rock State Park northwest of Austin, Texas. The 33-year-old's fall was captured in a video.

Vella, after falling in the desert, spent about 30 minutes lying on the ground until paramedics reached him. The YouTuber fractured his neck, back, and pelvis and shattered his right arm.

In his YouTube video, Anthony Vella did not say when the crash happened. But his previous vlog was posted eight days ago. The latest video kicked off with him in his hospital bed where he is being treated. He said that his paramotor crashed because he missed a small pension knot during his checks before taking off.

Vella filmed the crash from at least three angles. He fell down in the desert and was visibly in pain from serious injuries. ''Help me please, I crashed my flying machine," he told a dispatcher after desperately asking Siri to call 911.

"Oh f**k my arm is totally snapped," Vella said after he was examined. The operator asked him if he was bleeding or had any other injuries. His wife Leandra Vella was called.

"The glider collapsed and my arm is snapped... I'm going to be fine, my love, don't worry," the YouTuber told her. She replied: "What do you mean, don't worry?"

The couple later thanked all of Vella's well-wishers.
