Actors Arjun Ashokan, Sangeeth Prathap Injured In Car Accident During Bromance Film Shoot

Actors Arjun Ashokan and Sangeeth Prathap of Premalu-fame, along with two others, were involved in a car accident that occurred during the early hours of July 27, Saturday, in Kochi. The incident occurred at around 1.30 AM while the actors were shooting a chase scene for the upcoming film Bromance, which had gone on the floors recently.

Details Of The AccidentAll those who were involved in the accident have reported injuries, including the two actors. The CCTV visuals of the incident showed the car moving at a high speed before getting out of control and toppling. It was reported that the car was driven by a stunt man. A food delivery boy, whose bike was parked by the roadside, was also injured in the accident. The injured were immediately rushed to a nearby private hospital and are now in a stable condition. The Ernakulam Central Police have registered a case for rash driving.

More About BromanceThe film had officially commenced shooting on July 15, Monday, after a customary auspicious pooja and switch-on ceremony in Kochi. The pooja was attended by its cast and crew, including its main leads Arjun, Mathew, along with actors Shyam Mohan and Sangeeth Prathap of Premalu fame. The news of the film's shoot commencing was shared on social media by its producer Ashiq Usman, along with members of the crew, featuring videos and snapshots from the pooja ceremony.Bromance has been jointly scripted by director Arun, Raveesh Nath, and Thomas P Sebastian. Arun and Raveesh had previously collaborated on the director's debut film Jo and Jo (2022) as well as the critically-acclaimed Journey of Love 18+ (2023). The duo has also jointly worked on Raveesh's directorial debut film Samadhana Pusthakam, which has Siju Wilson playing a prominent role, and released in theatres on July 19.Bromance also stars Kalabhavan Shajohn and Binu Pappu in prominent roles. The upcoming comedy entertainer film's technical crew comprises cinematographer Akhil George, editor Chaman Chakko, and music director Govind Vasantha.
