The Toyota RAV4 topped the list with the Japanese built machine coming through with the lowest car insurance claims record.
Analysis from Warranty Solutions Group (WSG) analysed more than 2,750 car insurance claims between June 2024 and May 2025 to compile the list.

He said: "I've never seen one of these break yet. As long as you don't drive through six feet of water and flood the whole car out, it's a really good system. It's been out a while, this one is a 2015, and I've never seen one break."

The experts admitted the model only scored 905 in their survey but still classed this as a "respectable" total.

The car ended up with a 19.40% claims rating, with motorists enjoying an average payout of £555.19.
