A food expert has suggested adding one thing to improve spaghetti bolognese, suggesting that it would upset Italians. What Willy Cook, a culinary creator of the bold new combos with more than 700,000 followers on Instagram, said: "I like to have fun with food, I always have and I maybe always will. Can cheese go in ice cream? From my meticulous research it has become far more of a possibility than previously considered. Cheddar with mussels has also been a revelation."
He added that Pilgrims Choice has "encouraged a sense of flavour freedom", which is a "brilliant thing". Will told the Express that spag bol, a classic go-to dinner time meal for many Brits, "should always be topped with a mixture of cheddar and parmesan". "The British take on the dish has become its own thing now," he added. The chef then suggested adding another ingredient.

"Look away Italians," he said, "I'm also adding a teaspoon of beef paste."
On his TikTok account, Will reccomends using a blender to make the best soffritto - a diced mix of onions, carrots and celery.
He also recommends adding one sausage to the mince, as well as some salt a pepper.

Will then adds milk, which he says helps the flavour.

A commenter said: "I was disappointed in you using white wine instead of red BUT THEN THE MILK?!"
But a different account wrote: "I said to myself 'if he doesn't add milk, he's not a true spag bol connoisseur!'
"Also I add two rashers of chopped bacon into mine."
Another person agreed, and wrote: "Almost perfect.
"Just missing smoked bacon and tomato purée but otherwise that's spot on lad."
Oddly, someone else recommended stock of a different meat.
They commented: "Give it a whirl with chicken stock next time either a cube or the powdered stuff.
"Delicious!"
