Shark carpet cleaner that makes 'grubby carpets look brand new' now even cheaper on Amazon

Homeowners with children and pets know all too well how quickly carpets can start to look worn and grubby. This is especially true for lighter-coloured carpets, which easily reveal embedded dirt that no amount of vacuuming can shift. One solution to this issue is to invest in a carpet cleaner, and right now, Shark's is even cheaper on Amazon.

Shark's CarpetXpert Deep Clean Carpet Cleaner is now on sale for £179.99, down from £249.99 - a saving of £70.

The device comes with a built-in stain and spot remover tool and cleaning solution. It also has a quick-drying function to dry carpets after they've been thoroughly cleaned.

Shark claims the device is eight times more effective at cleaning carpets than a standard vacuum, and the stain cleaning function is much easier than manually dabbing at marks. The handheld spot remover attachment can be used to address stubborn spots on rugs, carpets, stairs, sofas, upholstery, car interiors, and more, reports Wales Online. Dirty water is then collected in a detachable water tank that can be emptied.

The carpet cleaner is also designed to be lightweight. In a review, one shopper said: "I'm 77 and can manage this with ease. It's easy to use, lightweight, and I love it."

The carpet cleaner has a 4.6-star customer satisfaction review on Amazon, with one shopper writing: "Wow, what a machine! After my son had a few accidents in his bedroom, I never thought I would get the stains or the smell out. How I was wrong! This machine is absolutely fantastic. However, one customer noted that the tank wasn't quite big enough for their needs: "It needs a bigger tank. We constantly have to empty and refill it."

For those concerned about storage space, a spot cleaner could be the solution, as they are typically much smaller. The Vax Rapid Power Pro Upright Carpet Cleaner, which includes a bottle of cleaning solution, is available for £120 at Argos and includes a bottle of cleaning solution.
