An ex-bodyguard who worked closely with during her time as a senior working royal has revealed the worries she faced while conducting her work.
Steve Davies, who worked with Meghan Markle when she first joined the , spoke to , and said he "felt sorry for her" when she joined the Firm.
He explained: "She was paranoid. We had people following us around everywhere we went."
The ex-bodyguard has also hit out at claims the Duchess "bullied" her staff - allegations rejected by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex - and said Meghan came across as a fundamentally "good person" who loved "working with charities to working with dog walkers and cleaners".
It comes as the Duchess of Sussex was in a piece for the US publication Hollywood Reporter, in the latest row of allegations against her regarding her attitude and behaviour towards staff.
