Prince William to return to the polo field within days - full details

Prince William is set to return to the polo field within days to help raise money for a good cause. Kensington Palace has confirmed that The Prince of Wales, 43, will take part in the Out-Sourcing Inc. Royal Charity Polo Cup 2025 this Friday.

The match, which will take place on July 11 at Guards Polo Club in Windsor, will see William take to the field. It is not known whether Princess Kate will also attend to watch her husband from the sidelines.

The match will raise important funds for charity, with the total amount raised expected to be more than £14,000,000.

This money will be split between ten charities and causes supported by the Prince and Princess of Wales, which will help them to carry out the work they do on a daily basis.

Kensington Palace has confirmed that the charities chosen by the couple, who will receive the money, includes Child Bereavement UK, Royal African Society, Fields in Trust, We Are Farming Minds, Anna Freud Centre, Family Action and Forward Trust.

East Anglia's Children's Hospices, NHS Charities Together, and British Red Cross will also benefit from the money raised.

Kensington Palace has said the charities have been chosen by William and Kate themselves and reflect what the couple are passionate about.

Prince William's polo match comes after a busy week for the future King, who spent Tuesday playing a crucial role in the French state visit.

The first-in-line to the throne, along with his wife Princess Kate, stepped out at RAF Northolt to greet Emmanuel Macron and his wife Brigitte Macron, before travelling with them to Windsor.

After spending the day with the French President and his wife, alongside the King and Queen, William and Kate then stepped out again in the evening to attend the state banquet.

Today, William is jetting overseas to Switzerland, where he will attend the UEFA Women's Euro match to watch England play against Netherlands.
