is a classic Italian meal, perfect for all of the family.
It's known for its delicious layers, with thick bechamel sauce, delicious bolognese and lashings of cheese.
However, making it can be time-consuming, especially when cooked in the oven.
Luckily, Aldi has shared a super easy homemade which in an air fryer.
It serves six people, can be prepared in 20 minutes and cooked in under 40.
Ingredients:One medium onion, diced
500g lean steak minced beef
125g mushrooms, diced
Two garlic cloves, crushed
Half a teaspoon of dried chilli flakes
500g Cucina tomato sauce
50g butter
50g plain flour
550ml milk
Eight dried lasagne sheets
180g grated mozzarella
Fresh basil
Method:Begin by making the bolognese by heating some oil in a pan, adding the minced beef and cooking until browned.
Add the onions, garlic and mushrooms, cooking for five minutes, adding the tomato sauce along with 100ml of water.
Mix until fully combined and then season with the chilli, salt, pepper and leave to simmer for five to 10 minutes while you make the white sauce.
Preheat the air fryer to 180C and then grease or line the air fryer basket.
In a saucepan, melt the butter and then add the flour, mixing until it's a smooth paste. Gradually add the milk, whisking until it's thick, seasoning with salt and pepper.
Begin layering the lasagne in the air fryer basket with a third of the bolognese and top with the lasagne sheet.
Follow with a layer of white sauce and some mozzarella, repeating in this order until it's all used up.
Place in the air fryer for 30 to 40 minutes or until the lasagne sheets are fully cooked and serve topped with fresh basil.
