Inside Novak Djokovic's two New York apartments with gym and pool worth £8.8 million

Novak Djokovic has cemented himself as the GOAT, amassing a list of achievements and records anyone would envy. The 36-year-old has 24 Grand Slam titles, 40 Masters 1000 trophies and the most all-time weeks at No. 1 with 423 and counting. And he has just as much to boast off the court. Djokovic has an impressive property portfolio, including two penthouses in New York worth £8.8 million.

The 24-time Major winner also has bases in Monte Carlo, Marbella and his home of Belgrade. But he went all out in New York City, where he has two apartments in the same luxury complex.

In 2017, Djokovic parted with a reported £8.8m ($11m) for two, two-bedroom condos at the 565 Broome SoHo development, which renowned architect Renzo Piano designed. According to the Wall Street Journal, the 2,000 square-foot apartments are not next to each other and the world No. 1 did not knock down the walls to combine them, though they are on the same floor.

The 30-story development was still under construction when Djokovic bought the apartments and opened in 2018. It's the perfect base for the US Open, as the Serb has plenty of space to house himself and any family or team members with two separate properties to choose from.

The apartments boast heated white oak floors, Basaltina lava stone kitchen worktops, Miele appliances and custom furniture. The interiors were inspired by Parisian architecture and the large windows offer views of the Manhattan skyline.

Some condos have their own swimming pools and terraces, though it is not known whether either of Djokovic's have the added amenities. Residents have automatic parking with a private drive while the building itself, comprised of two glass towers, has a shared 55-foot pool and outdoor terrace.

There is also a gym, perfect for helping Djokovic stay in shape during the US Open, complete with a yoga studio, sauna, and steam room. And those living at 565 Broome can stay entertained with a media room and a library.

Djokovic previously owned another Piano-designed property in Miami, selling his three-bedroom 'sky villa' in 2021 for a small profit. So it was no surprise that the world No. 1 was happy to shell out the money on two more apartments from the architect.
