was cleared of 11 of the 17 allegations made against him by , while the BBC upheld six.

The former star released an emotional video statement on thanking fans from "the bottom of his heart" as he expressed his intention to continue doing what he was "born to do" - performing. However, body langauge experts have deciphered the emotions beneath the surface to share what they believe he's really feeling right now.

, who has also analysed the likes of and told Express.co.uk: "The camera has been placed high to give Gio a compliant, confiding look. He speaks using words and tone of some relief but he also uses his body language to signal inner pain and hurt.

"When he talks about the 'difficult time' his hand comes up to cover his mouth in a cut-off ritual as he rubs his nose. When saying that stuff about him was 'untrue', his eyes squint, his lips pucker and twist as his mouth gurns, followed by a chin jutting that suggests a desire to stay strong despite the painful time."

Judi added that she could also see him "wincing" and "screwing up [his] features" while thanking fans for their support, suggesting that the seven-month-long wait for the results of the BBC's probe remains a raw experience for him. She added: "There is a trait of generalising where he says 'everyone around the world gets frustrated', calling it being professional."

Meanwhile, also known as "The Face Whisperer", agreed that Giovanni appeared "uncomfortable" during the middle part of his video statement, where he told of how he was "happy" to have been cleared of the "serious allegations".

"Eye contact for a comfortable interaction should be 60 - 70 percent of an interaction - any more and it feels forced and any less the person appears shifty," she suggested, adding: "I think we have less than 50 percent in this message."

She continued: "In the middle part of the message his eye contact is very low with the camera/audience which is a sign that seems to be incongruent with the beginning and the end of the message - is he not as confident in what he says when this happens?

"Maybe there's something he feels uncomfortable about this part of his delivery and he's not addressing the six areas that were upheld of the claims or he is justifying his behaviour where it has less than met the mark."

However, she clarified that she feels Giovanni was "genuinely happy" while delivering the message, adding: "I would even go so far as to say he feels vindicated and has won."

"I don't think he's taking any accountability - rather justifying or distancing himself from any responsibility. He definitely feels he's in the right and has been vindicated," she concluded.
