Emmerdale 'to kill off' legend after years on ITV soap and it's bad news for Mandy Dingle

Send Push

Emmerdale viewers have forecast a devastating fatality on the cobbles that will leave the Dingles utterly shattered.

Recently on the soap, Vinny (Bradley Johnson) has endured a torturous period. Despite being betrothed to Gabby Thomas (Rosie Bentham), he has been grappling with questions about his sexuality.

Vinny found himself developing romantic feelings for his closest mate Kammy (Shebz Miah) and attempted to kiss him.

In a bid to conceal his emotions, Vinny then sought guidance online, turning to an LGBTQI+ forum, reports the Daily Star.

He began corresponding with a man called Mike (Macaulay Cooper) who claimed to be experiencing a comparable struggle with his own sexuality.

Nevertheless, this week witnessed a terrifying escalation when Mike savagely assaulted Vinny and began extorting him, demanding £10,000 or threatening to expose everything.

During Wednesday's episode (August 13), a traumatised Vinny concealed his wounds from Gabby, though it was evident he remained in excruciating discomfort.

Recognising he required an alibi should Gabby notice his bruising, Vinny instigated a confrontation with unsuspecting Kammy, whom he provoked in hopes of retaliation.

Subsequently, Kammy insisted Vinny reveal what was troubling him, but Vinny remained unable to confess. At the episode's conclusion, he retrieved his phone to contact the authorities - before losing his nerve.

Viewers now dread that Vinny might perish from his sustained injuries in a catastrophic plot development. On an Emmerdale Facebook fan page, one person wrote: "I think they're actually going to kill Vinny off."

Another viewer chimed in: "He still looked in so much pain, it's horrible to watch." A third agreed: "I thought this too." Another then speculated: "Maybe Vinny has something terrible going on after being attacked."

Emmerdale airs weeknights on ITV1 and ITVX at 7.30pm
